DESCRIPTION:We have access to 860 acres on a mountain. \nThere are bulldozed access trails to get around the mountain and lots and lots of opportunities for more trails. Richie has been busy on the bulldozer since we were last there and has opened new areas to explore to flag and clear trails. \n  \nThis is a Working and wheeling weekend so be prepared to stop and walk and clear some new trails. Bring tools for a work day as well as gloves and sturdy boots. We will explore the new and established trails when we have had enough working. \nLarge and small rocks for all levels of Jeeps.

Please help us in the upkeep of this property that HRJA is lucky to have for our use. \nA workday is a wheeling day just at a slower pace. Stopping for dead-fall cutting. Stopping for hiking out and marking new routes and obstacles. Cutting brush and briers back from the trail edges to prevent pinstripes. \nMany hands make light work! \nWe mainly need to open some long neglected trails and cut a flagged trail in. \nWith the short day night wheeling after dinner is a distinct possibility. \nIf we are up to it with the cool weather we may head back to the property Sunday morning and work a ½ day. \nHRJA Jeep only rules do not apply to a work day! Bring whatever you want to drive\, SxS\, Quad\, Buggy\, Bronco (How Dare You)? \nPlease be sure to bring gloves\, and trail cutting tools if you have them. (Chainsaw\, Pruners\, String trimmer with brush blade) \nKids are welcome to come as well\, If they can use a set of pruners bring them along. \nWe can use the help even if you don’t want to drive just meet at the below location and grab a passenger seat. The more people the easier the workday and more time to play. \nCome Friday eve\, Sat and maybe Sunday. Primitive camping sites available on the property camper parking in the lower field as well. Call/text or email me with questions or for details. \nNearby (20 Minutes) Ryerson Station State park offers primitive electric\, cottages & full hookup camper sites and a new heated bathroom/shower house. \n3 cottages\, 4 full hookup sites\, and 12 electric\, and 14 primitive sites available as of today 9/6/23. \nCampgrounds and Camping Reservations – Pennsylvania State Parks (reserveamerica.com) \n\n$5 HRJA Bucks are earned for working this event. \nThere are no gas stations on the way to the farm but they are nearby (10 minutes\, 5 miles). Planning to return again after hunting season in Dec. or Jan.  \nYou can arrive any time after 6 PM on Friday the 28th and you can stay until Sunday the 30th if you want to enjoy some campfire time.  \nDollar General minutes down the road if you need Ice or other supplies during your stay. \nPlease be sure to bring gloves\, and trail cutting tools if you have them. (Chainsaw\, Pruners\, String trimmer with brush blade)  \nKids are welcome to come as well If they can use a set of pruners bring them along. Tell them hard workers earn HRJA Bucks as well! \nWe can use the help even if you don’t want to drive just meet at the below location and grab a passenger seat. DESCRIPTION:It was too wet to ride after the parade so let’s try again in a couple of weeks\, Some are headed to Petersburg\, WV this weekend\, the rest can wheel locally if they want to. \nThe trails are stock-friendly (when dry) but still offer a good afternoon of trail riding. We have opened and made some more difficult trails during workdays. All of the harder areas have bypasses and room to watch the adventurous try them. \nMeet at the Northgate Plaza Parking lot before  9 AM\n \nThe Northgate Plaza is located on Rt. 19 just north of Zelienople (considered Harmony).\nThere is a Bilo supermarket in that plaza \nAddress: 3 Northgate Plaza\, Harmony\, PA 16037 \n\nThe Trailhead is about 15 minutes from the plaza. Please gas up and have lunch and drinks with you prior to meeting up at 9 AM.\n\nSubway across the street opens at 8:30. \nBilo opens up at 7:00 AM and has to go food and subs.

You can distribute candy during the parade by having your passenger walk beside the Jeep and hand it out\, with no throwing from the Jeeps. This is a great chance to come to show off that older Jeep or maybe the one that is a little too nice for the trails. 🙂 \nDirectly after the parade\, we will meet up again in the Northgate Plaza on Rt. 19 just north of town.3 Northgate Plaza\, Harmony\, PA 16037. There is a BiLo in the plaza\, and a Subway across the road. You can grab a quick sandwich there to take on the trail with you or pack your lunch ahead of time. \nStick around and we’ll do some light wheeling on the trails at the Harmony property! The trails are stock-friendly (when dry) but still offer a good afternoon of trail riding. We have opened and made some more difficult trails during workdays. All of the harder areas have bypasses and room to watch the adventurous try them. \n  \nHRJA Trail Rules apply. Front and rear tow points required. \nBring food and non-alcoholic beverages. Trail rides can\, and sometimes do last a while. \nNO ALCOHOL ON ANY TRAIL RIDE SPONSORED BY HRJA.  \nRemember to take any trash with you\, even if you didn’t put it there.
